I, Am An Idiot
Well, I busted out in 2216th place. That wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that there were only 2247 people playing!
Ouch.
I made a stupid play real early that involved me hitting a flush and someone else hitting a full house. This emphasizes Joe's poker rule number one, a rule I seem to keep forgetting:
Don't call an 'all in' early in a tournament, Dumbass
Yeah...forgot about that one. You think I would have learned this at Brandi's last poker party.
No worries though. I learned my lesson and signed up for a money tournament and, with Amy at my side ready to slap the living daylights out of me if I did something stupid, I came in first place. That's sort of redeeming, in a way.
Playing further into the blogger tournament would have been cool since it was such a large field of people. Hopefully I'll be able to get into some other freerolls to test my skills more and help me practice rule number one. Rule number one, again for those who might not have been listening (like me), is:
Don't call an 'all in' early in a tournament, Dumbass
That also happens to be rule number two, so you know.
