I've been playing and learning poker recently and I've really gotten into it. I've found that it really hits my "thinking game" fix that I've have a lot better than online chess does. With chess, I really need the board in front of me to play and I have a hard time playing online. With poker, I don't really have that problem since it's really not a spatial game. And it's very much more about psychology and information gathering than chess is. Poker is also much more math oriented. There are a lot of good books about the subject and it's pretty facinating to me.

So I've been playing little tournaments on PokerStars and doing pretty well with them. Now PokerStars is having a Blogger Tournament, I might just have to see how much I've really learned.
