Provisional Ballot Update

Just got this from my wife:

I just called the [Summit County, Ohio] Board of Elections to see if my registration was fixed, it is.

I also called to see if my ballot had been counted and they said they wouldn't know until at least Friday. According to that card they gave me they should have known as of Nov 17. I did hear that they were having a huge amount of problems, but I didn't think that it would have put off the counting this long.

I also asked them why the Bureau of Motor Vehicles would be able to change my voter registration. What I was told was that you can have the BMV update your info for you if you want. I distinctly remember what I signed and what I didn't, as I read all the legal stuff I'm ever given unlike some people. I never authorized the BMV to change my registration, but they did anyway, screwing it up in the process.
